Charlie Upchurch

Hi all, I'm Charlie, a 4th year biologist at the University of Oxford. I specialise in teaching GCSE sciences, A level biology and geography, and university (including Oxbridge) admissions for biology-related subjects. I have experience working with a range of students, from primary school to sixth form, with all three of my previous Oxbridge Admissions students receiving offers.

I like to tutor online using a shared whiteboard so I can draw out difficult-to-exlain concepts so they can be understood with ease. I like to let the student direct lessons - they come to me with the topic or subject that they are struggling with, and I help them solidify their understanding. I like to take regular breaks when learning new content to make sure that the student is understanding all of the content, either through exam practise or through conversations about the content.
