My lessons are tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. I aim to create a supportive and relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in maths and physics.
I have experience teaching undergraduate and master’s engineering students at the University of Nottingham, covering subjects including mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, applied mathematics, and engineering principles. My background as a Mechanical Engineering PhD graduate and Research Associate means I use maths and physics daily in real-world engineering and research applications.
Lessons can focus on: • GCSE Maths and Physics • A-Level Maths and Physics • Mechanics and applied problem solving • Engineering and university-level mathematics • Exam preparation and revision techniques • Building confidence and improving fundamental understanding
I break down difficult topics into clear step-by-step explanations and use worked examples to help students understand both the method and the reasoning behind solutions. I also encourage students to actively solve problems during lessons to build independent thinking and exam confidence.
Lessons are available online or in person and can be adapted to suit coursework support, revision sessions, or long-term tutoring.
