Cedric Theriault

Cédric Thériault is a highly regarded classical guitarist from New Brunswick, Canada, known for his expressive versatility. He has received significant recognition, including First Prize at the National Music Festival of Canada in both 2021 and 2022, and appeared on CBC's "30 Under 30." 2023 edition. Cédric holds degrees from Université de Moncton and the University of Toronto, and he is currently pursuing a DMA in guitar performance at the University of Toronto.

Equally comfortable on electric and classical guitar, Cédric possesses a rare versatility that allows him to teach confidently across a wide range of styles. He began his musical journey on the electric guitar, developing strong experience in songwriting, recording, and live performance with rock, blues, and metal bands. In parallel, his advanced training in classical guitar refined his technique, tone, and sense of interpretation.

With a deep passion for blues, rock, metal, and classical repertoire alike, Cédric offers a comprehensive and creative teaching approach tailored to each student's individual needs. He helps guitarists explore their musical identity while building solid foundations and true confidence on the instrument.
