I teach Violin, Viola & beginners Piano on a one to one basis. I teach according to a pupil's individual needs. I aim to make a lesson as interesting,stimulating & enjoyable for a student. My aim is to develop & nurture the best from all my students. I prepare students for Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music exams. I have had a number of years of teaching & Playing experience.I also play in various Amateur & Semi Professional Orchestras. I could arrange home visits to teach at a pupil's home or arrange for them to come to my home for lessons.I have put a violin pupil through Grades 1 & 2 ABRSM . She has gained two consecutive merits . I have also helped run beginner Orchestra courses for school children during school holidays .
I have also form orchestras to play for shows & to accompany local choral societies .I have attended various orchestral courses run by Cobweb Orch , Rehearsal Orchestra . I have also played at Glasshouse Gateshead in a performance of Michael Tippett' Child of our Time . This was a great opportunity to work with & share a performing with players & Principal Conductor Dinis Sousa of Royal Northern Sinfonia . I am looking forward to being involved in a similar project in not to distant future.I also enjoy playing Chamber Music with friends. I have also done these for weddings & other Social Functions.I also enjoy attending Concerts Opera & Theatre performances both locally & in other places
