Hi, I’m Carolina, a native Spanish teacher from Argentina, currently living in Spain.
My professional journey has been quite varied. I started my career in scientific research, working in cellular and molecular biology, before moving into education and teaching Biology and Health Education. Eventually, my love of teaching and languages came together and led me to train as a Spanish teacher.
Living and travelling in different countries — including Argentina, Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic and France — has also shaped the way I teach. I speak English, French and Italian, so I know from personal experience what it’s like to learn and communicate in another language.
I’m naturally curious and enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds. My lessons are friendly and relaxed, and I believe humour is an important part of creating an atmosphere where students feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes.
As an Argentine now living in Spain, I’m particularly interested in the richness and diversity of Spanish. There isn’t one “correct” Spanish: the language has many accents, expressions and cultural influences across Spain and Latin America. We can focus on the variety that is most useful to you while also exploring the wider Spanish-speaking world.
Above all, I want my students to enjoy learning Spanish and feel increasingly confident using it in real life.
