My teaching method is mixed and seeks to develop the four language skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking. After having taught the grammar rules, emphasis is placed, above all, on speaking skills. The aim is to create a trial-and-error environment in which the important thing is the constant use of language. Mistakes in speech are downplayed without neglecting them, thus encouraging student participation.
I also advocate a gamified system in which great importance is given to the game as a motivating element, creating a balance between learning and fun. For this purpose, I use a wide range of digital tools, presentations, videos... In all these
activities, elements of competition, abstraction and reward are incorporated.
Finally, I always try to appeal to the students through a focus exercise: how can this knowledge be useful to them? I inquire about the
aspects of their daily life, the cultural experience that Spain can provide them, their interests or even their dreams for the future. This eliminates the feeling of monotony and reinforces the students' motivation, because they themselves acquire a clear purpose when it comes to learning the Spanish language.
