I teach conversational Spanish lessons focused on practical speaking skills and vocabulary building. My lessons follow an immersive format where we speak entirely in Spanish. I start each lesson with a brief informal chat in Spanish so you can get comfortable with the flow of the conversation. We then move into targeted exercises like role-playing everyday situations, describing photos, discussing current events, and recounting stories or experiences.

The lessons are very interactive and hands-on. I don't just lecture—I engage you through open-ended questioning and encourage you to ask me lots of questions too. We focus on common greetings, questions, descriptions, and key travel vocabulary to build your confidence in basic conversations. I also teach informal phrases and idioms to give you a taste of colloquial Spanish.

My teaching approach is very flexible based on your unique goals and learning needs. If you need to prepare for a trip to a Spanish-speaking country, I will tailor lessons to desired travel destinations. If you simply want to become more comfortable conversing casually in Spanish, I will design informal discussions around topics you enjoy. I have over five years of experience teaching Spanish to students of all skill levels, so I am adept at gauging your abilities and pushing you to improve at your own pace.

I make lessons challenging but fun and engaging. My passion for both the Spanish language and teaching others fuels my enthusiasm for each lesson. I do not just go through the motions—I genuinely care about your progress and provide value in each interaction. Between lessons, I also supply short homework assignments, audio samples, and supplementary resources to help reinforce what you learn.
