Fun is a big part of my teaching sessions. I use games and a reading warm-up following a vocab recap for language teaching. In person, I may use window pens to illustrate content better, whilst online I use Zoom meetings and share my screen drawing on my iPad. In my experience, illustrated themes are better understood. I am always open to questions from students and feedback on how they find the session to maximise the support for their type of learning as every student has a different approach.
I use the concentration curve of students, where I start with games, warm-ups and dialogues and then dive into the topic where the focus is on its highest point. Close to the end, we recap, answer questions and talk about homework to wrap up the session as concentration levels drop.

I am delighted to see my current student improve from 35% to 70% in their science assessments.
My other student scored the highest grade (grade 9) in their German GCSE. These results confirm my tutoring methods are successful and efficient.
