Having lived in different countries and learned 5 languages myself, I know what it takes to master a new one - which is why fun is a big part of my teaching sessions!
I am a native German speaker and moved to the UK 10 years ago. Over my 14 years of tutoring experience, I have found that an enjoyable environment really helps students learn. In my German lessons, I use games and a reading warm-up following a vocab recap. At the moment, I exclusively teach online using Zoom, where I share my screen and draw live on my iPad. In my experience, illustrated themes are much better understood and keep students highly engaged.

Burcu was such an amazing tutor for combined science higher!! Not only did she get me from a 6-6 in year 10 to a 9-9 for my final gcse results , her lessons are so fun and interactive. She explains concepts so easily, making content so easy to understand and I have never felt discouraged to ask her any questions as she is always eager to help. She is such a good tutor to the point where I advertised her lessons to my friends and younger brother! She is amazing and i definitely would not have gotten the grades without her !!
