With five years’ experience teaching Biology and the wider sciences across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, I bring a strong subject foundation alongside a practical, student-centred approach to tutoring.

During my teaching career, I delivered Biology, Chemistry, and Physics across all major exam boards, adapting lessons to suit different specifications, abilities, and learning styles. I’ve worked with students ranging from those needing confidence-building and consolidation to high achievers aiming for top grades. My focus has always been on making complex biological concepts clear, engaging, and relevant, while building strong exam technique and independent learning skills.

I’m particularly confident in tailoring sessions to individual needs — identifying gaps quickly, setting clear goals, and tracking progress over time. Having worked both in the classroom and one-to-one, I understand how important consistency, clear communication, and encouragement are in helping students feel motivated and capable.
