A highly professional certified English language trainer with over 20 years experience teaching, motivating and energising English learners. My stimulating classes will enable you to become more fluent, more professional and more confident in English. Challenging and highly communicative, my classes will help deliver progress fast!

I’ve also spent over 15 years in the business and tech world and my knowledge, insight and business experience can help develop your practical business English skills.

My teaching manner is friendly, calm and encouraging, and we’ll study at a pace that suits you. We’ll revise and refresh regularly. I try to motivate learners to aim high and achieve even higher.

I’ve been teaching English for over 20 years to professionals and learners in many spheres: IT and tech, medical, business, legal, and at university. I’ve taught IT programmers, developers and project managers, company CEOs, surgeons and doctors, lawyers, government ministers, and university students. I’ve developed the English skills of all of them, and guided many of them through exams, interviews, negotiations, and relocation to another country. They all loved my ability to make grammar clear and understandable, the structured classes, my passion and enthusiasm for our lessons, my reliability, and my knowledge of world affairs, history, literature and culture.

First, we agree on your general targets, requirements and priorities for the course.
Then classes are structured with clear aims:
-to make grammar understandable and usable, and to ensure it is used accurately and correctly
-new vocab is taught in themes, and learned and used in every class
-conversational practice - new grammar and vocab is then perfected in dynamic discussions about current topical themes
-videos and audio are part of my classes and are used regularly to encourage discussion and to enhance target grammar and vocab
-regular homework is given, although this can be optional. Homework might be a reading text with questions, grammar exercises, or watching a Tedtalk, for example.
