I am an online GCSE Computer Science tutor with a strong academic background and a clear, structured teaching approach. I hold a BSc in Computer Science and am currently completing an MSc in Computational Neuroscience, Cognition and AI, which allows me to combine solid technical knowledge with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I also completed GCSE and A-Level Computer Science myself, so I understand the course content, exam structure and pressures from a student’s perspective.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s exam board, ability level and learning style. I focus on breaking down complex topics into simple, logical steps, helping students build genuine understanding rather than relying on memorisation. I place particular emphasis on programming, algorithms, computational thinking and exam technique, using real exam questions and clear explanations of mark schemes to help students improve their performance.
As an online tutor, I run interactive lessons using screen sharing, live coding and guided practice, ensuring students stay engaged and actively involved. I am patient, supportive and focused on building confidence, especially for students who feel stuck or overwhelmed by Computer Science.
I work well with students aiming to strengthen their fundamentals, improve exam results or gain confidence in programming. My goal is to help students feel comfortable with Computer Science and approach exams with clarity and confidence.
