Bethany Davey

I’m a professional vocalist, songwriter and recording artist with over 12 years of experience recording and performing music. I have been working in recording studio environments since I was around 11 years old, and over the years I’ve developed extensive experience in vocal recording, live performance, vocal technique and artist development.

My lessons are designed to feel supportive, engaging and personalised to each student. I believe singing should feel creative and enjoyable while also building strong technique and healthy vocal habits. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students can grow in confidence without feeling intimidated or overly pressured.

Lessons would usually begin with vocal warm-ups and breathing exercises to help strengthen technique, control and vocal support. From there, I like to work with songs that students genuinely enjoy and connect with, as I believe this helps people progress more naturally and stay motivated. Together we would work on areas such as pitch, tone, expression, confidence, vocal stamina and performance technique.

A large part of my own vocal training focused on breath work, vocal health and learning how to maintain the voice safely whilst performing and recording, which is something I’m passionate about passing on to students. I also have extensive experience recording vocals professionally, so I can help students become more comfortable with studio-style singing and vocal delivery.

My overall approach is encouraging, adaptable and focused on helping students develop their voice at their own pace while still keeping lessons enjoyable and inspiring.
