My lessons are designed to make GCSE Chemistry feel clear, manageable, and even enjoyable. As a Chemistry graduate, I have a strong understanding of the subject and enjoy helping students build confidence in topics they may initially find difficult.

I tailor each lesson to the individual student, depending on their current level, goals, and learning style. Lessons can include explaining key concepts step-by-step, working through examples together, practising exam questions, and identifying areas where the student may be losing marks. I place a strong focus on understanding why something works rather than simply memorising facts, while also making sure students are comfortable with the key knowledge required for their GCSE exams.

I like lessons to be interactive and encourage students to ask questions and work through problems themselves, with guidance and support when needed. For students preparing for exams, we can also focus on exam technique, interpreting questions, structuring answers, and becoming familiar with mark schemes.

Whether a student needs help catching up with a particular topic, wants to consolidate what they are learning at school, or is aiming for the highest grades, I can adapt lessons accordingly.

My goal is for students to finish each lesson feeling that they understand something they previously found challenging and are more confident tackling it independently.

I also aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. Building confidence is just as important as improving grades, and I want every student to feel proud of their progress.
