I have been learning Spanish with Begoña now for 4 years....... She is an excellent teacher and her lessons are fun and enjoyable. I would highly recommend her teaching methods - 10/10 for me! As I now live in Spain our lessons are via Skype - which works perfectly well.

Begona is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend her. She tailors her lessons to the needs and priorities of her students. Thanks to Begona I have improved considerably, both with the formal aspects of the language, and my ability to use Spanish in everyday life when visiting family in Spain. She's a very skilful and knowledgeable teacher who always makes the lessons relevant. She's friendly and good fun too.

My journey to realiizing my dream of being able to speak spanish started just over four years ago.I have property in Spain and thought it important to be able to converse in spanish.After working with three or four different tutors I consider myself extremely fortunate to have found Begona. It has now been almost four years since i started having classes on line with Begona and i can say that without doubt she is an amazing teaher.Her lessons are always interesting,engaging and well planned.She is very patient ,friendly and fun to work with and is always challenging me to improve and build on what i already know. Another great benefit of having Begona as your teacher is the wide amount of listening ,written and verbal exercises that she has at her disposal to help you improve and build your understanding of Spanish. Her desire to help all her students improve and her love of teaching is clear to see.I have no reservations about highly recommending Begona.You won't be dissapointed

I have enjoyed very much attending Spanish classes with Begona over the last 3 years, not only learning the language but also about Spain and its history and culture. Begona delivers the classes in such a way that everyone feels comfortable, participates and has fun, no matter what their level is. She is very patient and provides the encouragement needed when learning a new language. I would highly recommend her.

Begoña is an outstanding tutor . As a (very) mature student I was initially a little anxious, but Begoña has such a natural gift for teaching that I immediately felt comfortable. During covid lockdown our sessions were a highlight of my week. She is patient, friendly and very organised, her lesson plans are tailored to meet my learning requirements, I do not feel overwhelmed but am very pleased with my progress. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Begona started teaching my 6 year old and she was so nice that when he wanted to stop after a year, I took the lessons on. That was about 7 years ago and I have gone from being just about able to order a drink, to having random chats with taxi drivers about their daughter's jobs and the impact of covid and brexit on tourism! I probably could get away without the lessons now but I enjoy them, and having a Spanish person teaching you Spanish makes a real difference if you actually want to use your Spanish in real life. Begona works hard to make every lesson suit the student personally and is also very flexible (I work shifts and so can't do the same time every week). I do not think I would have stayed committed to learning Spanish with a different tutor. Very highly recommended!

I have had Sapnish conversation classes with Begona for a year. Not only am I improving my fluency and confidence in speaking but we do engage in some challenging discussions around current affairs. In addition, Begona provides some focused work to improve grammatical accuracy, which is hugely beneficial. I very much look forward to my Spanish class each week. I am an adult learner and Begona is patient, enthusiastic and supportive and uses a variety of different approaches to develop skills in reading, writing speaking and listening. She is passionate about her language and culture, demanding of her students but great fun to be with. I highly recommend her.

Begoña is an amazing Spanish tutor, each lesson is different and really helps improve your Spanish conversational skills. Lessons often include discussing interesting subjects or opinions which allows you to learn Spanish in an organic way where you learn vocabulary naturally and improve quickly. Begoña is very friendly and really wants to help her students improve their Spanish skills through speaking, listening, writing and reading! I would definitely recommend her as a Spanish tutor!

Begona has been teaching me once a week for nearly two years and her teaching is fantastic in that having been a total beginner at the age of 74, she has gradually given me the confidence to speak Spanish on my regular visits to Spain as I have been given a wide vocabulary and a full understanding of all tenses of the verbs. She is extremely patient and her sense of humour make the lessons so special and I hope she will continue to teach me for many years to come.
