My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that true mastery of a subject comes from a deep conceptual understanding, not just memorisation. Studying as a PhD student in Chemical Biology from Imperial College London and with a strong foundational background in both Chemistry and Biology, I ensure that every lesson is built on a bedrock of solid academic knowledge. I go beyond the syllabus to foster critical thinking skills, training students to deconstruct complex problems logically, identify underlying principles, and develop strategic solutions. This is particularly evident in my approach to tackling challenging questions, where I specialise in breaking down hard problems into manageable, logical steps, empowering students to navigate even the most daunting academic challenges with confidence.

What uniquely distinguishes my tutoring is the ability to bridge the gap between abstract theory and real-world application. My hands-on R&D experience in the pharmaceutical industry at leading companies like AstraZeneca, BASF, Bayer and Etern Therapeutics allows me to infuse lessons with practical context. For science students, I can illustrate how a chemical principle translates across life-saving drugs to analytical thinking and data-driven decisions. This not only makes learning more engaging but also clarifies the profound relevance of their studies.
