Hi, I’m Babz! I’m a passionate, qualified teacher from London with a warm, nurturing approach and a genuine love for helping children grow. With a Primary PGCE, QTS, and a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, I’ve built a strong foundation in education, working across nursery and primary school settings for over seven years.

I’ve taught in a range of classrooms, most recently at an Outstanding-rated school in London. Many of the children I supported had English as an additional language, and I used creative, inclusive strategies to help every learner feel confident, capable, and included.

I teach phonics, English, maths, science, and all foundation subjects—but more than that, I focus on building self-confidence, emotional resilience, and a belief in their own abilities. I truly believe that limiting beliefs are one of the biggest blocks to learning, and with the right support, children can overcome those and truly thrive.

What to Expect from My Lessons:
Each session begins with a gentle recap to fill any learning gaps. From there, we follow a supportive structure I love:

This gives your child time to watch and understand, try it with me and build confidence by doing it themselves.

I tailor each lesson to your child’s age and needs, combining structure with creative, playful learning—because we learn best when we’re engaged and enjoying the process. Lessons are paced with care, always with encouragement at the heart.

I also keep open communication with parents, so you always feel included and informed in your child’s progress.
