My lessons are well-structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. I focus on creating a calm and encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and make progress at their own pace.
I usually begin lessons with a short review of previous topics, followed by clear explanations of new content using simple language and practical examples. I use a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities, as well as phonics and pronunciation practice when needed. Lessons are interactive and engaging, especially for younger learners, with visuals, games, and real-life examples.
I have experience working with children and young learners and supporting their English development, including grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, and confidence in speaking. I am patient, organised, and adaptable, and I always adjust my teaching methods to suit the student’s age, level, and goals.
My aim is not only to help students improve academically, but also to build their confidence and enjoyment of learning.
I also incorporate regular feedback and informal assessments to track progress and identify areas for improvement, ensuring each lesson builds effectively on the last. I encourage students to set realistic goals and celebrate their achievements, which helps maintain motivation and a positive mindset throughout their learning journey. I am also comfortable supporting exam preparation, homework help, and conversational practice, adapting each session to suit both academic requirements and everyday communication skills. My lessons aim to build independence so students feel confident using English outside the classroom and in real life situations.
