I believe everyone is able to learn a new language; after all we learned our first language. But not everyone fits into the standard learning model of classroom teaching. Some students need more time, others prefer learning by doing and some need to speak more to be able to memorise what they have learned. Everyone is different and school cannot accommodate all varying needs. During the initial sessions, I aim to get a better understanding of your learning style and difficulties. This will enable us to work in ways that makes learning a fun and engaging activity, rather than a chore. I don’t believe in just sitting and writing sentences over and over - this is already covered in school work. Instead, I plan my lessons so that we use the space and world around us.
