Each lesson follows a clear format: we begin by identifying one or two specific weaknesses (for example, speaking under time pressure, complex tenses in writing, or tricky listening questions). I then teach the exact techniques examiners reward, using real GCSE-style questions and model Grade 8–9 answers. Students don’t just “learn French” — they learn how to score marks.

As a native French speaker with a Grade 9 at GCSE and a 7 in IB French (A* equivalent), I have a deep understanding of both the language and the exam system. I know precisely what separates a Grade 6 from an 8, and an 8 from a 9. This means lessons are efficient, targeted, and never generic.

Lessons are interactive and fast-paced: students speak French from the very first session, receive clear corrections, and leave with personalised vocabulary, structures, and exam phrases to memorise and reuse. Homework is short, purposeful, and always reviewed.
