Ashleigh Jones

Hello! My name is Ashleigh, and I am a native Mandarin speaker from Taiwan. I graduated with an LLB from the University of Birmingham and am currently studying the LLM Legal Practice (SQE) at BPP University in the UK.

I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, practical and tailored to each student's needs. Whether you are learning Mandarin for school, exams, travel, work or personal interest, I will adapt every lesson to your goals and learning pace.

My teaching style is patient, encouraging and well-structured. I enjoy explaining concepts clearly and helping students build confidence step by step through speaking, listening, reading and writing practice. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

As someone who has studied in both Taiwan and the UK, I understand the challenges of learning in a second language. I hope to help students not only improve their Mandarin skills but also gain confidence in using the language in real-life situations.
