Hi guys, I am an IBDP graduate with an extended essay in Higher Level Biology. I am currently pursuing BSc Human Biology in Loughborough. I really enjoy clearing doubts regarding the subject I teach. I find using different strategies far more useful for retaining information than cramming the syllabus. When you learn something in a unique way with an application-based understanding, the concept becomes far clearer. I am quite confident in teaching GCSE students concepts such as biochemistry, cell biology, infection and response, and biological organization. I always encourage questions, as they are an indicator of effort in terms of learning. Usually I would ask the student/students what they would prefer help in, as their needs are more important than following a preconceived structure. Additionally, I find using analogies quite useful and engaging, as students can alter them to their liking, which allows them to retain information better. Overall student satisfaction and understanding is my primary goal. I am always reachable via my email and I hope I get to help some of you understand biology better :)
