Hi, I'm Artem. I hold an offer to study Mechanical Engineering at Imperial College London and achieved A* predictions in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

I have one year of one-to-one tutoring experience, helping my GCSE Chemistry student improve his understanding and exceed his target grade through regular, personalised lessons. I enjoy helping students develop confidence in maths and sciences rather than simply memorising methods. My aim is to explain the reasoning behind each step so that students can tackle unfamiliar questions independently, rather than relying on memorised procedures.

Having completed these exams recently, I still remember the mistakes I made when learning these topics, so I know which parts students often find confusing. I know that some topics can seem overwhelming at first, but with the right explanations they quickly become much more manageable.

During lessons I encourage students to explain their thinking as they solve problems. This helps me identify misunderstandings quickly so we can address them before moving on to more challenging questions. I often found that understanding where a formula came from made it much easier to remember and apply, and that's the approach I try to pass on to my students.
