Ariana Ye

Hi, my name is Ariana!

I’m passionate about teaching Spanish, which is my native language. I’m proficient in English and have a good understanding of Chinese, mostly listening but can speak it a little bit. I’ve been living in the UK for over three years now, and during this time, I’ve deepened both my teaching experience and academic background. I hold a BA in English and Applied Linguistics, and I’m currently studying for a Master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.

I’m excited to apply everything I’ve learned in my master’s programme, including my teaching practice, to support my students in all key areas of language learning: grammar, pronunciation, listening, reading, and writing.

I have previous experience teaching Spanish online, where I tailored lessons to each student’s needs and adjusted activities based on their proficiency level. My goal has always been to create a supportive, engaging, and interactive learning environment.

In our lessons, I won’t just bring grammar explanations and exercises—I’ll also include more dynamic and fun activities, using YouTube videos, music lyrics, and even short TikToks to make studying a language interesting and relatable. Learning a new language should be enjoyable and inspiring!
