My lessons are flexible and tailored to each student’s goals. I enjoy teaching face-to-face, but I also have experience with online lessons. Sessions usually last 1 or 2 hours, and I always aim to create a comfortable, relaxed environment. I’m talkative and enjoy explaining things in depth, but the main goal of each lesson is for you to speak, practice, and learn at your own pace.
We design the course together depending on your objectives:
- Work-related goals ? a more formal and professional focus
- Personal interest ? day-to-day communication and cultural aspects
- Exam preparation ? structured lessons with language-focused practice
Classes are dynamic and adaptable. If an activity feels repetitive, we balance it with something different. The most important thing is that lessons are a safe space: if you don’t feel comfortable with a particular activity, we’ll adjust it.
Homework is optional—some students prefer it, others don’t. I usually recommend dedicating at least 3 hours per week to learning outside of class. This helps you progress faster while allowing flexibility to manage your own time.
For materials, I combine my own explanations with online resources, exercises, and references so you know exactly where to find extra practice.
Catalan is my mother tongue, and I have full native-level proficiency in Spanish. I studied Catalan Language and Literature and later completed two master’s degrees in teaching Spanish and Catalan as second languages. Over the years, I’ve also worked as a tutor, supporting students with different goals and learning styles.
In addition, I’ve learned Italian and practice it every day, so I understand what it feels like to be a language learner myself.
I’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have—just reach out!
