My lessons are friendly, interactive, structured and completely tailored to each student. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and taking their time to understand a topic properly. I believe lessons should be engaging and enjoyable while still being focused and productive.

For online lessons, I use a digital whiteboard, Miro and screen sharing to make explanations clear and visual. I can use diagrams, examples, written explanations and practice questions to help students understand concepts in different ways. I encourage students to participate throughout the lesson rather than simply listening, as I find that actively working through questions helps build confidence and understanding.

At the beginning of a lesson, I like to establish what the student already knows and identify any areas they are finding difficult. From there, I explain the topic step-by-step and check understanding as we go. We can work through examples together before moving on to guided and independent practice. If something is still unclear, I am happy to approach it from a different angle and explain it in another way.

I can adapt lessons depending on what the student needs. This could include going over schoolwork or homework, revising a particular topic, preparing for an upcoming test, practising questions, strengthening areas they find challenging or simply building their confidence in the subject.

I also like to keep track of progress and focus on areas that need the most attention. My goal is not just to help students complete a question, but to help them understand why they are doing it and gradually become more confident and independent learners.

Every student learns differently, so I aim to make each lesson personal, supportive and suited to their pace and learning style. My priority is for students to leave each lesson feeling that they have made progress and have a clearer understanding of what they are learning.
