Hi I'm Archie. I am a second year student studying Mathematics BSc at the University of Warwick. I took 11 GCSEs (all 8s and 9s) including Maths, Statistics and Additional maths in 2023 and 4 A levels (A*A*A*A) in Maths, Further maths, Biology and Physical education in 2025. I also took the MAT and TMUA (which are university admission maths tests) in 2025 and the UKMT maths challenge between 2017 and 2024, so I am well versed in mathematics exams all the way from year 7 introductory quizzes to first year university final exams.
At my final year of sixth form college, I tutored first years A-level maths and loved it. I’ve been really drawn to starting tutoring again as I find it such a rewarding experience and I love watching when topics click for people. From experience, I know that understanding tricky concepts can be incredibly satisfying. I really enjoy teaching using examples with explanation as well as detailed diagrams. A picture paints a thousand words! I also focus on active recall, identifying trickier topics and returning to them because repetition is a key detail in becoming excellent at anything. I really want to be the catalyst to show anyone how beautiful maths can be and support you on your academic journey to success.
I'm happy to do lessons as short or as long as you like to make sure *you* get the most out of them. I can do lessons online through either Microsoft teams (or Zoom) as well as in person. Thank you so much for reading my profile and considering me to help you foster a love for mathematics and achieve the very best results.
