Hi, I’m Aran, I'm an Optometry graduate with an A* in GCSE Maths and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their potential. I’ve always believed that with the right guidance anyone can feel confident in maths, no matter how tricky the topic might seem at first.

My tutoring sessions are designed to be friendly, supportive and tailored to you. I know from personal experience, helping my younger sister with her GCSE Maths homework and exam prep, that every student learns differently. Some need to slow things down and revisit the basics, while others want to be challenged with more advanced questions to push for higher grades.

Each session begins with a quick chat about what you’re finding difficult or what topics you’d like to cover. From there, I’ll explain concepts clearly and break down problems into simple, manageable steps. We’ll work through example questions together before you have a go yourself, with plenty of encouragement and tips along the way.

I cover all areas of the GCSE Maths syllabus, including:
• Algebra
• Geometry and shape
• Number and ratio
• Statistics and probability
• Exam skills and past paper practice

Whether you’re aiming for a grade 4 or pushing for a grade 9, I’ll tailor the pace and content to suit you. I offer online sessions at the moment, but can do in-person lessons can be available across South East London, including Bromley, Lewisham, West Wickham, Beckenham, Crystal Palace, East Croydon, Sydenham and Brixton. I can also travel to nearby areas by train if needed.
