Aoibhe Whelan

I am currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in World Languages at UCC, focusing on Irish, French, and Italian, but my native language is, of course, English.

As someone deeply passionate about learning new languages and exploring different cultures, I believe I can make a positive impact by inspiring a love for languages in my students and helping them succeed in their exams.

Regarding tutoring, my approach is tailored to the needs and goals of each student. I focus on past exam topics as they provide an excellent foundation for understanding the exam structure and expectations. From there, I work with my students to develop their essay writing skills, providing guidance on formatting and relevant exam expressions with numerous examples of native speaker responses.

In addition to written work, I also place great emphasis on oral work as it is a crucial element of exams. I aim to instill confidence in students' speaking abilities by providing a supportive and interactive environment. Sample notes will be provided
