Hello!
My name is Annarita and I am a SAP professional but a language geek too!
This is why I want to continue teaching and helping others in my spare time...I believe everyone should be able to develop and pick up at least a language in their life as it's so rewarding demolishing those language barriers that make meeting new people so awkard at times.
I have a degree in Foreign languages and Literatures and one year living in Spain while on a university project called ''Erasmus''.
I have been traveling and living in many countries and have moved to the UK over 9 years ago where I worked as Spanish/Italian tutor privately while on my full time job.
I usually use the first lesson to understand why the student wants to take on the language and what level of knowledge they have then make a plan and take it slowly from there to make sure the student can understand and practice at their pace. Rewarding and correcting in a positive way are the key to be a good tutor in my opinion. There is nothing worse than being told off while making the effort to learn something totally new as it can have the opposite effect on the student.
This happened to me before years ago but I carried on pushing myself instead of giving up as languages was and still is a passion of mine.
Please get in touch if you have any questions about my methods or anything else :)
Thanks,
Annarita
