Hello! I’m a dedicated tutor with over ten years of international and local teaching experience across the UK, Portugal, and Thailand.
I hold a Master’s degree in Philosophy from King’s College London and a First-Degree BA in English Studies & Philosophy. My background ranges from delivering targeted preparation for GCSEs, A-Levels, IELTS, and Cambridge exams to tailoring bespoke support for students with learning difficulties like dyslexia.
I aim to create an engaging, highly supportive space where every student feels understood and motivated to succeed, both online and in-person.
I genuinely enjoy tutoring because it allows me to build meaningful, trusted relationships with my students while giving them the individual focus they need.
I particularly thrive on helping students build true confidence rapidly when time is of the essence—whether that means navigating high-stakes GCSE and A-Level exam preparation or mastering complex literary analysis under tight deadlines.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a student transform exam anxiety into genuine self-belief and top results as well as develop a real love of literature and philosophy themselves.
??When I’m not tutoring, I am usually playing the cello or making music of some kind, or practicing my Portuguese language skills.
I also dabble in writing; whether it's lyrics for my music, or finally getting that novel written, and just thoroughly relish finding opportunities to be as creative as I can, in any way possible. I also have a vintage bicycle, which I find is one of best ways to explore both London or further afield.
