My lessons are relaxed, friendly and supportive. I know that many of the young people I work with feel anxious, overwhelmed or lacking in confidence, so I create a calm space where they can talk openly without feeling judged or pressured.

Lessons are usually one-to-one and are online. We work at the young person’s pace and focus on what they need most, whether that is building confidence, motivation, communication skills, preparing for work, exploring future options or understanding what may be holding them back. I also work with parents. These lessons can be together or separately.

I use gentle conversation, practical activities and small achievable goals to help them begin to move forward and feel more positive about themselves and their future. With over 7 years’ experience supporting 14–25 year olds, I understand that every young person is different and there is no “one size fits all” approach.

I’ve worked with over 200 young adults who came to me feeling insecure, shy and unsure of who they were or what direction to take. By the end, they were more confident, socially engaged and had found the next step in their life, whether that was getting the job they wanted, returning to complete their exams or securing an apprenticeship. Many also learned to believe in themselves again, speak up more, manage their anxiety better and realise they were capable of far more than they had ever imagined.

Sometimes parents need advice & support & I work with them on how to re-communicate with their teenagers & help them understand they are not alone with a troubled teen.
