For me, math isn't just a subject; it’s a passion that I genuinely love sharing with others. Having just finished my own A-Level journey, I’m not just fresh off the exam line—I’m incredibly motivated to stay connected to the subject and guide the next wave of students through it. I chose to become a tutor because I know firsthand how frustrating it can be when a math concept just won't click, but I also know the incredible feeling of relief when it finally does. That lightbulb moment is exactly why I teach. Over the past three years, whether I was running official after-school GCSE intervention programs, leading peer-to-peer A-Level study sessions, or working one-on-one with private students, my goal has always been to turn that everyday confusion into absolute confidence.
?I take my students' success incredibly personally. There is nothing more rewarding to me than seeing a higher-tier student secure those competitive 7s, 8s, and 9s, or watching a foundation student completely turn their track around—shifting from 2s and 3s up to a solid grade 5 and realizing they are capable of so much more than they thought. Because I’m a recent graduate, I don't feel like a rigid authority figure to my students; I feel like a mentor who went through the exact same exam stress they are facing right now. I know the shortcuts, the marking schemes, and how examiners think. School teachers do an amazing job, but they have a whole classroom to balance part-time. I’m doing this full-time because I truly want to be there for your child, giving them the individual, tailored support they need to reach their full potential.
