Andrei Ratiu

I am a 4th-year medical student at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, studying in the English-language program. My academic journey began in a Cambridge curriculum high school, where I graduated with strong results and developed a deep passion for science—particularly Chemistry. During my final year of high school, I had the opportunity to teach Chemistry to fellow students who were preparing for their Cambridge A Level exams, an experience that allowed me to strengthen both my subject knowledge and my ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and relatable way.

Since then, I have continued teaching Chemistry, particularly for students preparing for university entrance exams in medicine and related fields. This experience has taught me how to adapt to different learning styles and how to motivate students to reach their academic goals.

In addition to my academic background, I am also an active member of Rotaract Cluj-Napoca, where I am involved in community service and personal development projects. Through this, I have learned the value of empathy, leadership, and teamwork—all qualities that I believe are essential when working with people.
