You will find a comprehensive display of my professional competence on my website: I have been teaching English as a second language, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese on a highly competent level in mostly private classes to adults in the past 36 years. Hailing from Switzerland where I had my own language school and taught for 27 years I moved to England in 2017. Since then I have been teaching all the above mentioned languages under the name of my language school - Mastertalk Language Services. I still mainly teach adults in private classes usually on an hourly basis. The textbooks I use are catering for the adult learner who wants to achieve a specific goal with these lessons. Most of the time my students are beginners or intermediate level and mainly wish to be able to talk and function in the country where the target language is spoken. I am very flexible with the timing for the classes as I work every day incl. weekends. I try to facilitate maximum flexibility for my students be it in timetable or syllabus. I take pride in the fact that my students appreciate the format of my classes as described on my website. I would also like to mention that after Covid and recent Meningitis cases I have decided to exclusively teach online. Being able to do that allows maximum accommodation for my learners helping them to achieve their language goals in the best possible way.
