Eliana Tuesta Bay

My lessons are always adapted to the student's needs. My aim is to help them achieve their potential through various types of resources, practice and activities in a way that feels natural, flexible and efficient for them to go as far as they want in their journey of learning a foreign language.
I am approachable and friendly and I like to build positive relationships with the students and their guardians. A relationship of trust and respect that flourishes lesson after lesson. My lessons are always hands on and easy to follow but they will always include a challenge adapted to the level of the student, helping them that way, strive for the very best.
I have experience as an AQA Examiner for Speaking Higher Spanish and during my time as a secondary school teacher I have taught from KS3 to KS5 Spanish and French to KS3 students. I have developed various programs to help my students succeed, including running my own language clubs for primary age children and adults. I have carried Spanish Spelling Bee competitions and taken my group up to a regional level in the North West.
I am passionate about multilingualism and the benefits that a person can enjoy when learning about other culture, language and traditions.
