Ana Ross

Hi, I'm Ana and I have previously tutored beginner French learners in person. I also hold a 120-TEFL qualification, so I am well equipped with many teaching methods. I have studied or am currently studying French, Spanish, Russian, and Chinese. My passion for languages and experience learning them has exposed me to countless learning styles, which I am excited to share with you!
My lessons can be either in person (in London) or online (Zoom, Whatsapp).

I would like to focus on each student's individual needs when it comes to learning French, and so I am flexible with topics and language aspects covered. If you'd like to improve writing, reading, speaking, grammar, vocabulary... etc... I would love to help you. I recommend booking lessons once or twice a week, depending on your level and whether you attend other French classes. Additionally, I am keen to set weekly homework to ensure that you continue to improve and engage with the language outside of lessons.

I don't aspire to be like a traditional teacher in a classroom. Instead, I want there to be continuous dialogue between us in order to assess your needs. Furthermore, I would love to introduce students to French culture as there is so much to be discovered in terms of cuisine, literature, history, film, fashion, music, and more. I have found that learning French enhances my personal interests and makes the process much more rewarding. By integrating culture into language learning, I am excited to make learning French enjoyable for every student!
