I am a tutor with over 12 years of experience in education and a degree in Spanish Language and Literature. I bring an academic background as well as real world experience to my lessons. As a qualified translator, I don't just teach Spanish: I am passionate about the language, which means I can offer students insights that go beyond the textbook, from vocabulary from different parts of the Spanish speaking world to the cultural context that comes with the language and gives it its essence.

Throughout my career, I have worked with students of all ages, from young children taking their first steps in a new language to adults looking to advance professionally or personally fulfilling a lifelong goal. I have also worked extensively with SEN students, which has led me to understand that every learner is different and that there is no single path to moving forward. Patience, adaptability and empathy are qualities that I can bring to the table.

My approach is simple: your goals decide how the lessons are structured. Whether you want to prepare for an exam, build conversational confidence, improve your grammar, travel confidently to a specific country o explore Spanish-speaking cultures, I will adapt my lessons around what you find interesting.
