Other than this, I follow the basic pillars of the European Framework of Languages, so we will work on speaking, listening, writing, reading and grammar. I like to alternate them. But if the students target only one of the competences, I follow him/her through, without neglecting vocabulary and grammar.
I also require perseverence from my students, because some homeworks may be about watching movies, role play, journaling or arguing about climate change or topics they never thought about. I told you it will be fun!
