Hi, my name is Ana Romero-Abreu. I am a passionate and experienced language teacher specialising in English and Spanish as foreign languages, with a strong commitment to making every learning experience engaging, effective, and genuinely enjoyable.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working across a wide variety of educational settings, adapting my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student. I firmly believe that language learning should always start from where the student is, not where the teacher assumes they should be. That is why I carefully assess each learner's current level, goals, and learning style before designing a personalised programme that feels both challenging and achievable.

One of the things my students value most is that my classes are always fun and dynamic. I use a communicative, interactive approach that combines real-life conversations, games, cultural content, and practical activities — because when students enjoy their lessons, they learn faster and retain more.

I have delivered private one-to-one lessons for learners of all ages and backgrounds, offering a flexible and tailored experience that adapts to busy schedules and individual objectives. I also founded and led a Spanish Club for young learners aged 5 and above, where I created a warm, immersive, and creative environment to introduce children to the Spanish language and Hispanic culture from the very beginning of their linguistic journey.

In addition to my work with younger learners, I bring over six years of professional experience at a private Spanish language academy, where I taught students ranging from absolute beginners to advanced speakers, consistently helping them progress with confidence and enthusiasm.

I also offer Spanish for Business, helping professionals develop the specific language skills they need in workplace settings — from meetings and presentations to negotiations and professional correspondence.
