I do have a very heavy exam question focus however I do pick them out in a way that gets the best out of each student. I understand that maths doesn’t have a one system fits all approach and so I tailor my methods accordingly to each student.
I do tend to show my methods first and I then encourage my students to take charge and adapt my methods as knowing the procedures is fine, but the high achieving students really connect with the content with a deeper understanding and that’s the important thing in a level maths.
Knowing the stresses of a levels very well and studying in general, I try to keep my lessons as an open space to have fun as I know studying can feel like a chore when you don’t have a desire to do it. And that’s where I step in with my more relaxed approach to teaching as I’m aware that students need a push, but they also need to have a good balance of seriousness and relaxation.
So come join me on your journey in A level maths and together, we will secure your firm choice for university or the degree apprenticeship of your choice.
