Every lesson is carefully planned and tailored to the individual student, because no two students learn in exactly the same way. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, building confidence, and making consistent progress.

At the beginning of each lesson, we'll go over what we'll be covering and set clear learning objectives. I'll also ask whether there are any specific topics, homework, or areas the student is finding difficult so that we can prioritise these where needed.

I introduce each topic with clear explanations before working through examples live, encouraging the student to contribute their own ideas and reasoning throughout. This interactive approach helps students actively engage with the lesson rather than simply listening. We then complete a few questions together, gradually building their confidence before moving on to independent practice.

Once the student has completed their work, we'll go through each answer together, discussing any misconceptions and exploring different ways to approach similar questions. I believe mistakes are an important part of learning, so I always create a positive environment where students feel comfortable making them and learning from them.

To finish each lesson, I include a short, enjoyable recap activity or quiz to reinforce the key concepts covered and help me assess the student's understanding before the session ends. This allows me to plan future lessons around any remaining gaps in knowledge.
I always set homework to ensure the student is confident and has a firm understanding in the topic, after the lesson.

Since 2022, I have gained experience teaching and supporting students from Reception through to Year 11 in schools, tuition centres, and after-school clubs. I also have access to high-quality A-grade resources and tailor my teaching style, examples, and activities to suit each student's age, learning style, and goals, making lessons both effective and enjoyable.
