I am a first-year medical student at the University of Birmingham(undergraduate), with a strong academic background.
I achieved nine grade 9s and one grade 8 at GCSE, as well as three A* grades at A-level in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
I am familiar with:
•GCSE Biology(AQA)
•Chemistry(AQA)
•Mathematics(Edexcel).
These are the subjects that I am able to tutor.
I take a structured, student-centred approach to tutoring. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level and learning style, with a strong focus on building core understanding before progressing to exam-style questions. I break down complex concepts into clear, logical steps and regularly check understanding using active recall, diagrams, and worked examples. A typical lesson involves reviewing prior knowledge, introducing new concepts in a clear and interactive way, followed by guided practice and exam-focused questions using online resources, quizzes etc.
I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to help students gain confidence in subjects they may find challenging and see their understanding grow over time.
I have experience supporting students one-to-one for two years, helping them clarify difficult topics, improve exam technique, and build confidence in their subject knowledge. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students make consistent progress in their studies.
