We'll usually start by checking in on how you're feeling and what you'd like to focus on, then move through a session built around your goals, whether that's flexibility, strength, relaxation, mental clarity, or simply building a regular practice.
I thoroughly enjoyed my training in the beautiful Lake District and also in Varkala, India on how to teach yoga and I also previously taught a variety of exercise classes, both one-to-one and in groups, and have some online teaching experience. Sessions with me will blend gentle movement, posture and alignment, breathing techniques, mindfulness and relaxation, with everything broken down into clear, manageable steps so anyone at any level of fitness or yoga knowledge can feel comfortable - from complete beginners to more experienced practitioners.
With a background as a qualified sports massage therapist and years of experience in fitness and rehabilitation, I bring a strong understanding of the body, helping you progress into a warm up and then move safely and avoid injury. Expect a calm, encouraging space where you can progress at your own pace and genuinely enjoy it. Sessions will be a learning curve for your mind aswell as your body.
