I moved here from NYC over 25 years ago to work as an international journalist. Fortunately, I traveled extensively in Russia, Europe, SE Asia producing & writing news & feature stories. This training has infused me as a teacher, coach & mentor to properly source everything I do & share with students. I prefer dialogic teaching to lecturing, & I will try to focus our sessions on what you are most interested in & what you find the most challenging in school, when with friends or just out & about. I feel real empathy towards young people today, & have observed firsthand for 15 years the increasing impact of social media & algorithms on you. You never asked for unfiltered access to anything or everything online. Yet you have had to duck & dive digital fast balls from an early age, never really learning how to catch them. Whether studying English as a second language or working with me as a life coach, I will put you at ease, prepare our sessions in advance & share with you our prgramme after the initial assessment.
