My lessons are designed specifically for adults, and university students who want to feel more confident, organised, and in control of their studies. Sessions are calm, structured, and supportive, creating a space where students can speak openly about academic pressure, workload, motivation, or uncertainty.
Each lesson begins with a short check-in, allowing us to identify what feels most challenging at the moment, such as deadlines, exam stress, lack of focus, or balancing study with personal life. Together, we agree on a clear focus for the session, so the student knows exactly what we are working towards.
I use practical tools tailored to university life, including goal-setting frameworks, weekly and semester planning, prioritisation techniques, focus strategies, and reflective exercises. These help students manage time effectively, reduce overwhelm, and build routines that are realistic and sustainable. I also introduce emotional intelligence techniques to help students recognise stress triggers, build self-confidence, and develop resilience.
My teaching style is empathetic, non-judgemental, and encouraging. I adapt my approach to each student’s learning style, pace, and academic demands, recognising that no two university experiences are the same. Sessions are collaborative rather than instructional, empowering students to take ownership of their progress.
By the end of each lesson, students leave with clear next steps they can apply immediately, as well as greater clarity and confidence. My aim is to support students not only in improving academic performance, but also in developing lifelong skills for organisation, motivation, and personal wellbeing.
