My lessons are structured, focused and highly interactive. I combine clear teaching with lots of questioning, retrieval practice and exam-style application so that students are not just listening, they are actively thinking, practising and improving throughout the lesson.

I specialise in Science and have over a decade of experience across classroom teaching, private tuition, home education and senior leadership in secondary schools. This means I understand both the subject content and the bigger picture: how students learn, why they sometimes get stuck, and what actually helps them make progress.

Lessons are adapted to the individual student. We identify gaps in knowledge, tackle misconceptions, build confidence and then practise applying that knowledge in the way exams require. I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique, revision strategy and helping students understand how to turn what they know into marks.

My approach is calm, encouraging and academically rigorous. I want students to feel challenged, but never overwhelmed. The aim is always the same: clearer understanding, stronger recall, better exam performance and greater confidence in their own ability.
