Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. Before we begin working together, I identify their strengths, areas for improvement, and long-term goals so that every lesson is focused on making measurable progress.
My teaching style is centred around understanding rather than memorisation. Instead of simply showing students which method to use, I explain why it works, allowing them to apply their knowledge confidently to unfamiliar GCSE exam questions. This approach not only improves grades but also builds lasting confidence in mathematics.
Lessons are delivered one-to-one via Zoom using an interactive online whiteboard, making them engaging and highly effective. Students can ask questions at any point, and I adapt the pace of each lesson to ensure they fully understand every topic before moving on. We regularly work through exam-style questions and past papers, with a strong focus on exam technique, common mistakes, and gaining as many marks as possible.
I have over three years of tutoring experience and have supported more than 60 students during the last academic year alone. I am currently studying Electronic Engineering at UCL after achieving an A* in A-Level Maths, giving me a strong academic background and a thorough understanding of the GCSE specification.
Outside of lessons, students receive unlimited revision resources, free 24/7 support whenever they have questions, and ongoing guidance to keep them motivated and progressing throughout the year. My aim is not just to improve grades, but to help every student become a confident, independent learner.
I look forward to working together.
