My lessons are personalised to each student’s goals, experience level and musical interests. Whether you’re a complete beginner learning your first chords, an intermediate player looking to improve your technique, or someone wanting to learn specific songs, I tailor each lesson to help you make steady progress while enjoying the process.

A typical lesson will include a mixture of learning songs, developing technique, improving rhythm and timing, and understanding the musical concepts behind what you’re playing. I believe students learn best when they’re playing music they enjoy, so I regularly incorporate favourite songs and artists into lessons rather than relying on a rigid curriculum.

With over 10 years of guitar-playing experience, Grade 8 Guitar certification, and ongoing studies in Music Production at Leeds Beckett University, I can also help students with songwriting, music theory, recording and music production if they are interested in developing their wider musical skills.

My teaching style is friendly, patient and supportive. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence at their own pace. Lessons are designed to be engaging, practical and enjoyable while ensuring students continue to progress towards their goals.
