Hey! I’m a Biology tutor with a BS in Medical Laboratory Science, and I’ve been helping private students online for a while now.
My lessons are pretty chill and 1-on-1. We’ll usually meet on Zoom for about 45 to 60 minutes. I use a digital whiteboard a lot because, honestly, drawing out stuff like cell division or how enzymes work just makes way more sense than staring at a textbook. I also use websites for simulations of experiments so you can see processes like osmosis or DNA replication play out in a way that feels closer to reality. It’s great for reinforcement when reading alone isn’t enough.
I mostly help with homework, going over stuff from class that didn’t click, and prepping for tests for high school level up to first year uni. If you’re stuck on genetics, confused by ecology, or just need someone to walk through your assignment with you, that’s what I’m here for.
Because of my med lab background, I love connecting Biology to real-life examples. Instead of just memorizing the parts of blood, we’ll talk about what actually happens in a lab test. Students tell me that it helps it stick and makes exams feel less scary.
My vibe is patient, and I don’t mind explaining something three different ways if that’s what it takes. Ask me anything, even if you think it’s a dumb question. It’s not.
We can do regular weekly sessions or just book when you’ve got a big test coming up. I’m flexible with timing, and I’m based in the GMT+7 timezone, so I can also cover hours that work for Asia.
Just let me know what you’re working on right now and what you’re aiming for, and we’ll figure out a plan together.
